Arts

Effie Conkling Gallery
Named after our Emeritus Professor of Art, Effie Conkling, the Conkling Gallery enhances the education of our students by sponsoring professional exhibitions of regional, national, and international artists. The Conkling also provides gallery space for senior undergrad and graduate thesis exhibitions.

Gallery receptions and Enrichment Artist Talks are free and open to the public. You are welcome to visit the Conkling during open hours and are cordially invited to our Opening Receptions and Artist Talks. The Minnesota State University Mankato Department of Music proudly presents ongoing Performance Series Events throughout the year. Tickets range from $4-9 for MSU students with valid ID, to $8-16 for general admission. Please call for specific event and ticket information.

Theatre and Dance
The Minnesota State University Mankato Theatre and Dance Department presents ongoing performances providing multifaceted, high quality theatrical experiences. All mainstage performances are at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm. Along with the mainstage, visitors can also enjoy the studio performances, dance concerts, and the Highland Summer Theatre.
